Craig Poms and Brandi Haymorespent some time in the “Music City” last week for the New Jersey Bankers Association’s Annual Conference. Yes, you read that right. We were in Tennessee for New Jersey Bankers. This was Brandi’s first time back to Nashville since she was in middle school and it was our first time at their annual conference.
We had two full days of exhibiting which gave us lots of opportunities to talk about how we are helping banks across the country become more profitable and grow stronger portfolios for the future. Hearing how one of our favorite features, the Profitability Wizard, could help lenders better negotiate deals was like music to their ears!
Being able to spend some time walking down Broadway Street was fun including seeing one of the biggest boots Brandi had ever seen. But the real treat was tucked away in a place called Printer’s Alley. Thank goodness Craig knew about this hidden gem. The highlight was listening to the Stacy Mitchhart band at a place called Bourbon Street Blues & Boogie Bar. They could only imagine the talent you can hear on a weekend – this was just a regular ole’ Wednesday and they were amazing.
The food, music and conference did not disappoint and the NJBA seemed right at home with their southern hospitality – including guest appearances with Elvis & Dolly Parton. We’re looking forward to making it back to Nashville and maybe making it home with another pair of boots – just not the one in the photo. We don’t think it is TSA approved!
